Flower crowns are so easy to make and look super cute on your dog. I especially love them because I like to make matching things for me and my dog to wear. They also make a cute Halloween costume for your dog.

The items you will need are:
- silk flowers
- wired twine
- floral wire
- floral tape
- wire clippers
- flat-nosed pliers
You can also attach a small piece of elastic cord to the crown to keep the crown on your dog’s head. I generally just take a few photos and don’t expect my dog to go walking around with her crown on, so I let her balance the crown on her head and don’t use elastic.
Two important key points I want you to remember are:
- Cover the crown with floral tape really well, as to not leave any sharp edges that could hurt your dog.
- Shake your silk flowers out before making your crown and again before putting the crown on your dog. Silk flowers tend to have a lot of little fabric fragments that shed and fall off. If you are not careful, they fall into your dogs’ eyes and irritate them.
